On April 13, Rasuwa Project Department in Dhunche County, Nepal, on behalf of Langtang Bhotekoshi Private Hydropower Company, donated 200,000 rupees to the local government of Gosaikunda to fight against novel coronavirus epidemic. Mr. Kaisang Nurpu Tamang, chairman of Gosaikunda government and other representatives attended the donation ceremony, and expressed their gratitude towards Langtang company and its Rasuwa Project Department for their efforts and contributions to the local epidemic prevention.
The donation was made at the request of the local government of Gosaikunda. Five villages under the jurisdiction of Gosaikunda, including Thuman village, Timure village, Bridhim village, Rongga village and Syaphru Besi Town, are within the construction impacted area of Rasuwa project. Facing the epidemic, in the spirit of humanitarianism and on the principle of doing a good job of epidemic prevention together with the local people and parties, Rasuwa Project Department responded quickly and donated anti-epidemic funds in time to help the local epidemic prevention and control.
This donation is a concrete embodiment of Rasuwa Project’s active participation in local assistance, community construction and other work.
